The Viking Enterprise Solutions (VES) VSS2320 Storage Server offers 32 EDSFF E3.S SSDs utilizing the PCIe Gen 5 NVMe interface combined with two server modules equipped with AMD EPYC Genoa CPUs. Each server has access to all 32 NVMe drives. The VSS2320 is a dense high availability solution that provides the ultimate storage performance in a small package.

The enclosure contains two hot swappable server modules. Each of the server modules includes an AMD EPYC™ Genoa CPU, with 4x HHHL x16 PCIe Gen5 slots that supports Gen 5 PCIe add-in cards and up to 12 DIMMs channels. The VSS2320 fits into an industry standard 19-inch 1.0-meter deep rack with. The storage server’s flexible configuration supporting allows it to be deployed in a variety of applications. This extremely fast 2U storage server supports 128 PCIe lanes to the drives and network, delivering a non-blocking architecture.
